Oh my golly gosh!!

Anna an Italian lady in Accounts says this a lot, all the time. And that was my first thought when I googled my blog and found that someone somewhere is actually holding/considering shares for it! Don't believe it? Check out my blogshares!

And not just mine...on the bottom of the page are links to other incoming/outgoing links to my blog and thus other blog shares etc. You may realise now that your blog might be worth much more than you actually thought!!! Does that mean we should work harder to make our blogs better or 'who cares'??! ;)

BTW I saw 'Black' yesterday at the cinemas here. And well, I shall not summarise the movie or the story line or anything. Just that when the movie was over, I ran to the Ladies to check to make sure my face hadn't turned black with my mascara only to find that the neckline of my top had my precious tears all over it and anyone looking at me could tell that I had been crying my eyes out!

Good points - Movie was 2 hrs. Short and succinct.
- It has proved yet again that SRK is not the 'God' of Bollywood.

Was so moving that even the gora on the line before mine, who came with an Indian chick, wiped his tears when he got up at the end!
Well done Rani and Amitabh. Love your work!!

So, what movie did you watch on the weekend?!

Hello Miss Kanpuriya,

Aree app toh hamare "UP" ke nikali. Though, I am a punjabi, my family is from Agra originally. I love meeting my UP-baniya-people...ha ha. By the way, I am not kidding, Kanpur ki ladkiyan are known as the most beautiful and adab-waale in whole UP.

Anyways, I was surprised to find the share thingy. You are pretty rich then. Toh ho jayee party on just this knowledge.

Everyone has praised the movie "Black" and I am glad it has touched you too. The only bad news: Making us guys cry even when we don't want too...ha ha. I am planning to watch Shyamalan's "Signs" just now....*sigh*..No desi-theatre and was lazy going out to grab a hindi movie. "Qayamat" is coming on local Canadian TV as they show one desi-movie every sunday but not interested...

Ricky (Now I won't have to type my blog address as I am on a blog-roll...yohoooooooo)

PS: My blog is updated and I have mentioned your Oz too, so run...

@Ricky: Thankyou hai ji. I knew from long time that Kanpur girls are beautiful! But hearing from someone else!! :)
The Blogshares - I'm still a bit stunned. Is it even legal. Can they do that without even us knowing..I wonder!!
Signs - I thought it was alright. I was watching about Crop circles on Discovery last week. And how a few students of MIT actually made a crop circle in 4 hours at night which met all the scientific requirements!!!
Cool huh..?!

First time I am hearing a female say that SRK is not God. That really feels good.

And I just read your post on Xbox...Amazing, This is the first time I am hearing(or reading) about a desi girl playing Xbox. And just for that, you will have my complete viewership on your blog, day after day, I promise :-) So did u try Halo 2 yet? And which are all the games that you have played on the Xbox?

Twin-Gemini said...

And yeah, just to keep up with the promise, I have blogrolled you :)

@Anand: Thanks. But really he never struck me! I could watch his movies but I don't feel any 'wow!' effect - if you know what I mean. Specially all his emotional scenes are exactly the same. the same voice - the same expressions - and almost the same dialogues! Very unnatural.
XBox - yes I have been a videogame freak since I was a teen. But unfortunately I'm not too much into Halo or Rainbow Six etc. I don't like games with real humans and blood etc. I don't know, its probably just in my head or something but I just cant enjoy such games. Instead I play Go-carting, Vodoo Vince, Simpsons Hit & Run etc. *still a chick at heart you know!*

Good to have you here. And hope to see you around more often! :D

Blogshares is not illegal. You can always claim your blog. Its more like a stock simulation using blogs as shares. Its addictive..!!

BLACK is being recommended by quite a few ppl now. Even Big B claims it to be his finest performance to date! Will watch after the mid-terms!

I've been waiting for this film.. but reading the reviews from some websites terming it as not upto the usual Bansali movie's expectations.. i had a change in my mind..
but, i'll watch this movie atleast for the small girl Ayesha, if i'm not wrong, who has been getting all the credits for the movie :)

Ofcourse SRK is not the God of bollywood. He is the God of overacting. It's been ages since I saw any movie....Sigh! .. but I am definitely checking 'black'out after your glowing review..( it better be good ;-P )

Wah! Wah! Your comments about SRK is melting me.

I have not tried the ones that you have mentioned, let me see if I can get my hands on any of these. Simpsons and Sims are games that I have wanted to try for sometime. I also like to play strategy games, if Age of Empires comes in the Box, I will get it right away :-)

Hey Nupur,

Welcome bhi hai ji. I am still not sure about blogshare thing. Will have to do some more research and I just had a glance at that site. Anyways, these days because of no cyber-law and no geographic boundry these kinda things are hard to detect or even taken some action about. For GOD's sake we can't still do anything about annoying spam.

I did'nt see "Signs" the other night, will see it tonite. Actually I saw a very sad movie called "Awakening" with Robert De Niro and Robin Williams. It was about people with neurological problem that make them mentally-dead. It was damn depressing movie...:(

@Sumit: Really..?! See I never knew about it till yesterday! I shall keep an eye on mine. Yours are quite good too! Lets wait and see if they rise or drop :)
Best of Luck for your mid-sems.

@Red: Thanks Red. Glad to have you here! :D

@Anks: Oh he better be! Coz we are publicising his movie for free!! ;)
Good to see you here...and hope to see more of you in future! Take care.

@Prasad: "not upto the usual Bansali movie's expectations"..?!!
Hmm.. I don't know what people expect then! Honestly if you ask my opinion, SLB's movie are great as far as characters and acting is concerned. And it was proven right in 'Black'. But if people were expecting huge sets and costumes etc etc. Then I for myself found even those one or two scenes where SLB tried to show grandeur - a bit too much.
Too grand = Too unrealistic IMHO~!

@AAPA: Oh! Good to hear more people taking my side about SRK. Its high time he was brought down to earth! ;)
I think you wont be dissapointed with 'Black'. *fingers crossed!*

Nupur said...

@Anbu: Achha ji! You let me know too..ok? I'm total 'gawaar' as far as Shares are concerned. *hehehe*

@Jindu: Yes, so I hear. I will see if they have Page 3 here in cinemas. If not, then I'll have to wait for DVD, I guess!

@Puneet: Hmm... I know a few in Mumbai who have seen it. Not sure if they hail from Mumbai or are in Mumbai right now! Well, go check it out whenever you get a chance.
Arrey rey rey!! Your exams look way too scary to me. I didnt do Bio after 10th, as I went PCM. All the very best to you.

@Anand: "melting"..?! *scratching my head!*
Actually Grand Theft Auto is quite good as well if you are into a bit of real life action/mafia etc. My bro is absolutely hooked to GTA and Splinter Cell. They look interesting...just not for me!
AOE - I'm waiting myself for that one!!

@Ricky: :D True! Internet's current condition on such matters remind me of that song - "Andher nagri, Chawpat Raaja!!"
Awakening - Hmm... haven't seen that one. And you say its depressing. Phir to agar dekhni padi to prepare hoke dekhungi..ok?!

fursat said...

Hey Nupur,

Very unusual choice of song. Jaise hamare UP main kenhte hain na "Kee jamma nahin kuch"...ha ha. (Generally I answer this by saying...jab jaamaya hee nahin toh jamega kya khak...lol)

Please for GOD's sake don't see "Awakening"; only if you want to experience "depression"...

Tuwade punjabi bade khaant hai...

Ricky - UP-ka-bhaiya-impersonator

Nupur said...

@Ricky: :D jo bhi aap kaho sarkaar!
Whats "khaant" btw??

fursat said...

Khaant is a punjabi word for "awesome" or "out-of-this-world" or "great"...

Ricky...The-khaant-kinda-guy

Nupur said...

Wah! see my Punjabi vocabulary is growing too!!!
*hehehe*
