Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is a must read people. You have to go check this one out if you have not already.
I believe that the book is based on facts and very convincing facts at that! Its amazing, the real photos on Dan Brown's website n all (don't see them till you read the book!)
*Europe - my next travel destination!!*
I have studied in a catholic school for 12 years - and I thought I knew 'a lot' about Christianity - but I was shocked at what I found out! It confirmed some of my doubts and gave me many new things to ponder about........
I hope I am not lifting anyones expectations too high or anything, as heard one person didn't find DVC 'that' good. But I read the story without knowing what to expect and the prologue gripped my attention so strong that I could not put it down......
GO GET IT!

And any one out there, who is hungry and not too worried about eating deepfried and piling on some of those extra kilos, then go check out 'the kitchen' as I have been busy with some thing that I'm sure most of us love and want to have as often as possible!!
C ya people........
I *don't* want to study!!!!

Somethings in control and some totally out of!
Yesterday, I was asked if I wanted to go see "Kaal" and .......*unfortunately* I said "yes".
I'll be short.
-- I thought the clothes the chicks wore were ridiculous.
I think I don't even want to start on it.
-- The acting from all involved was utterly horrible.
Some scenes overacted, some extremely no expression at all.
-- I thought, the story line was stupid. I predicted it way way in advance!
Either I should stop watching Bollywood movies or stop complaining that the story line of almost 95% movies is crap.
-- The sound effects were too loud and very very annoying.
I can appreciate good background score as I do admit that it has a important part in movies. But *absolutely unneccesary - extremely ill-timed - unusually loud* noise - I just hate that. Instead to keeping me on the edge of my seat, it made me put my fingers in my ears because I just could not stand it, after 15 mins into the movie, at all!
I was sooooo upset when I left the theatre, had to control my anger and disappointment - literally.
Good thing that my friends with me have a great sense of humor and they helped me calm down n let go.
To conclude -
All those who made the movie,
all those who acted in the movie,
all those who told me I should see it,
all those who made me see it -
"Jee karta hai, ki mai unhe jaan se maar doon!"-- "I feel like killing them all!"

Height of desperation - After hearing soooo much about "The Da Vinci Code" I finally got my hands on a copy from a girlfriend at work. It lay on my desk most of last week and with the work and studies crushing me down I had to control myself........
Now (sunday night) I am at page 350 of the book.
*A weekend well-spent or ill-spent!*
"Kya karen control nahi hota!" -- "What to do can't control!"

Thanks to all my dear blogmates who have sent me their wishes. Yes, I know I should be studying right now - well........
"Jaa rahi hu naa!" - "I'm going no!"

Catching up....
You are surprised to see a new post. *What the $@#$"$@#$!@# am I doing here?!*
Well... I'm drowning deeper and deeper, day by day, in the abyss of books and assignments. Thanks so much to all of you beautiful people who have sent me their wishes in this very difficult time of my life! ;P
To catch with some things --
Wanted to thank the organisers, Kaush and Princess for a very successful Bloggers Meet yesterday. Blogsville is definately gonna have many many more of these in the coming weeks.
-- Although I should mention that I was probably the only chick out there with a webcam and that is so not fair!! Next time I'm gonna get myself a mic and hide behind the curtain of anonymity like you all did! -- How convenient..huh?! ;)
And just coz I'm busy don't mean I won't be cooking! - *thats my only salvation! haha!!*
So go on - check out whats the beautiful smell coming from the kitchen!
Ciao...

I'm soooo full - I could puke!
As times draws closer to the end of my last semester at uni, I am literally being bombarded here with assignments and projects. And work is just as crazy! *I know I say that all the time anyways!!*
And after it all whatever little time I have left, there are hundreds of other chores just waiting to be started and then finished ofcourse..... and there isn't more than one of me!
So, I think I will have to do one of my dissapearing acts and return in a couple of weeks. In the meantime ....enjoy the new Rice recipe in the kitchen.
I might jump in here in Blogsville now and then to say "Gudday mate!!"

for hungry souls!!
- Love
- Companionship
- Friendship
- Food
- or plain old music
The first one being the hardest to find and the hardest to keep. I won't even go into it, as a thorough discussion on this topic will just be out of the scope of this blog! ;) *ahh! always wanted to say that..used to be in so many books at school!*
Then comes companionship - and that includes just about any kind. Work mates, blog mates, gym-class mates, swimming lesson mates etc. etc.. And their is never ever the feeling of expecting something/any thing - or so it should be. We just are part of it because it feels good. Feels like you are a part of something.
Friendship though it begins at companionship, its more than that. Because if you dissappear for a while, you are genuinely missed. Friends lookout for each other, encourage each other and tell the bad discouraging stuff on the face too! *sigh! How good that feels sometimes..!!*
Food - *slurp!* It sure is the reason everything is the world is done for. People work - To put food on the table! And not just food to survive, we need once a while something niiice and tasty, to make the tastebuds happy! My mom always used to say - "Nupur, tum badi chatori ho!!" (Nupur, you are ......*I don't know the translation of 'chatori'!!*
And Music, I don't know if music can replace love/companionship/friendship, (and it sure can't replace food!) but, it does keep one occupied when these are or aren't present!!! Music heals, music transforms, music fills, music satisfies, music fulfills, music incourages, music persuades.... and much much more~!!
And though I can't help you people in most of these regards that much - I sure can help you in one of them. Food - so if you are tempted - checkout my first recipe in the kitchen!!
