EFIL - Life the other way round! ;)

Post II - in Blog-niversary Celebrations :)

----------------------------------------

When you think of all the important turns your life has made, when you think about all the milestones you have crossed in your journey, when you envision all the scenes of happy days and sad that have passed you by..... you are either thinking too much - or are probably at the verge of old age! :P

Because living life to the fullest, is all about looking forward - to the unexpected and not worrying about things till you really have to! Ofcourse the little devil misanthropist inside me wont ever let me take anything lightly - till I prepare myself - conjure a backup plan, a Plan B for that unforseen worst case scenario. And tho' some might find this trait of mine a little annoying, I know I will have much success with it in my career! *I have inside information that people get top $$ for planning for times when $hit hits the fans!!!!*

Ahem.... no we are not doing any of that here today tho' *Sorry!* :)

Hence, the discussion today is about not what we should do in life - but rather what can we do "without". What I think I want - out - of my life and what you think you want out.... *of your life..not mine! ;)*

1. I reckon, I can do without - keeping stuff in my heart!
Symptoms => Sleepless nights - Crying alone when no one is watching. :(

2. I can also do without - Guilty feelings when eating things with lotsa bad FAT.
Symptoms => *white angel in the head going - "Hey! What is wrong with you?! Put it down! I say put it down!!"* and I go, 'munch! munch!!' :[

3. I can definately do without - Procrastination. *oh man!!*
Symptoms => Job to be done ASAP - me making note in my calender for a reminder tomorrow! :P

4. I can surely do without - SitComs *Godness how much % of my life has already gone by in front of the Idiot-box! grrrr!!!*
Symptoms => I have to make dinner - I see 'Coming Up Next = Survivor' - 2 hours later - I have to make dinner!! *Oopsie daisies! :P*

5. 6. 7. 8. 9......... And many many more.......
The list is endless and the whole week will pass by while I whine n grumble.

So...
Let it be told to all ye blogmates of mine, I, Nupur, solemnly swear to not do what I'm not supposed to do and not grumble and complain that I did what I wasn't supposed to do.

And I know for sure - that you also do what you are not supposed to do - *hehehe* - so whats there to hide?! Tell me.... I wanna know.
:)

Pliss to be using Blogger comment today. :[

hmm .. well you said "looking forward - to the unexpected" .. well thats also a bit wrong isnt it ? .. looking forward to means "expecting" :) ... now for some that word is where all the mess starts ! :) .. so life is just living .. as it comes ! :)

and dont "worry" abt those gulity feelings .. sleepless nights .. SITCOMS ! .. dont think too much .. cos this is not the way to live your life .. worrying all the time ! ;-)

(zyada to nahin ho gaya !!?? :D)

Sorry - I am new to it - Didn't understand What Hallo Comments and Blogger comments mean.. Ab samazh aaya...hitting the back of my head with my hand.....
here I go..
Well... the first lesson that I was taught when I joined PEC was - "You are going to be a Computer Engineer - ALWAYS KEEP A BACKUP". So, I don't know - How you got that inside information - but yes, its absolutely true - people do get top $$ for planning for times when $hit hits the fans.
Surely keep stuff in your heart is not good for your healh...Sitcoms... I hate them..God only knows how much time people waste by sitting in front of the idiot box...hmm .. maybe they don't have any other better options to kill time.. I suppose..
Regarding What I can do without - ...I have to think now.......thinkng ... thinking....thinking......
1. I can do withiout with my workalohic nature - so many precious hours of my life - I have wasted in front of my computer, attending useless meetings, writing code, solving problems....I can do without all that..atleast to some extent..
2. I can do without some sleep - I reach office at 10.30 am to 11 a.m. everyday. Getting up before 8.30 am seems impossible for me...Whole of the office reaches by 9-9.30 am. and everyday after reaching office I start feeling guilty that I should have got up early...no one dare says anything to me.. bacause they know they can't do without me... but nevertheless...
3. Same as you - I have a habit of keeping stuff in my heart .. I think I can do without it...
List will go on & on & on.....
now let me shut up & give other bloggers also a chance to key down their thoughts

1.I can do without being over sensitive about people who dont matter that much to me...
2.I can do without being lazy and doing things on time, to avoid last minute confusion..

Lots more...need to think about it...

The one thing I can't do without is Music. And Internet. And food. And movies. And books. And... er... i think I need to stop here. *grins*

Oh but isn't this topic supposed to be about things which one CAN do without - that would be stupid people, crazy people, worms in my food, people reading blogs but not leaving comments, worms in my food (oops!) etc etc. and other irrelevant things.

Nice to see the Blogniversary celebrations in full swing!

Navjyot: LOL! No worries mate. It happens! :P

Workaholic!! *Ahh! Now we're talking!* But you what - I think most of us 'Indians' *I know I'm stereotyping again!* work too hard!!!
My work mates say that to me all the time - "Nupur, you work too hard!" "Nupur, you worry too much!" blah blah..!!!
==> But I guess - one has to work hard in order to succeed. But Navjyot, I try as much as I can - 'to work smarter, istead of working harder'!! :)

Early to bed = Early to rise!
*Try and get up early n go jogging - and if you find a nice chic in the same park, that should be enough motivation for the rest of the week! ;)* No..?!

And stuff in the heart - hmmm... I suffer from it too. So I cant say much abt it! :[

Art: :) 'That' is a hard habbit to beat.... and girl I can tell ya - If we girls stop being sensitive... we wont feel ourselves - it'll be like pretending to be someone else!

And lazy gurl! :P *Same pinch!!*

Nupur said...

Divya: Oh yeah!! Definately.... and time just flies when we're online..!! I know exactly what you mean. And my 43things is a constant reminder to me - to spend less time fooling on the net and more time doing something else. :)

But what to do.... we bloggers dont have much options naa! ;)

Nupur said...

Vaibhav: :D Worms is your food?!!!! OMGosh!!! :P
Are you serious... or just kidding? OR you are one of those 'Survivor' people who'll eat enything when theya re hungry! *See... I'm a survivor-holic!* *hic!* ;)

And crazy - stupid people... ah! we all have to do with out share of 'those'! So.... IGNORE is my policy.

No comments - on people leaving No comments! :P

Nupur said...

Prakash: :D Welcome back!
And thanks a lot mate. Glad you liked it. Just FYI - thats NOT my hand. ;)

Navjot Kashyap said...

No, you are not stereotyping. Its completely true.
"I try as much as I can - 'to work smarter, istead of working harder'!! :)" Good good... keep it up...Thats the way to go...
"Early to bed & early to rise..." ahmm.. auh..auh auh...my dad also says the same thing when he comes to know about my sleeping habits..infact I always get a 1 hour class(lecture on it) from my dad, whenever I goto visit him.
Let me try.. maybe this time I might succeed...
And hey...I find this usage of "chic" very derogatory word for women...gal or girl is far better I suppose.

where is the next post??

Nupur said...

Navjot: :) Well.... now I have ur Dad on my side too... so surely I must be right! ;)

Hmmmm... and mate I apologise. I guess its just a habit for me. *a bad habit...I know!*
